In the ongoing discussion of early specialization and general physical preparedness, its clear CrossFit Kids, and Elm City CrossFit Kids specifically, fall on the side of general physical preparedness. However, the discussion can be very nuanced: just because a "natural athelete" competed in 2-3 sports in high school, does that mean every student should? Or might a "less gifted" athelete need to focus on a favorite sport early in order to compete with the "natural?" ESPN took a look at the 2015 NFL draft class to see how many young professional atheletes were multi-sport atheletes in their student days.

Definitely an interesting voice in the conversation.
