I  have posted a schedule of events for the grand opening celebration under the "forums" section.

Friday September 11, 2009

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic
for which it stands,
one Nation under God,
indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.

To this day and as long as I can remember I have always recited the pledge.  Even in high school I was the only student in my home room to stand and put my hand over my heart and recite daily.  For every sporting event and/or race the "Star Spangled Banner" and the pledge always gave and still give me chills.

Never forget 9-11 and never forget that everyday tens of thousands of men and women (military or otherwise) toe the line ready to pay the ultimate price for our freedom.  So the next time you hear the SSB or TPA, stand-up, put your hand over your heart, and puff out your chest with pride.

"Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."
