We have been adding some classes over the course of the past few weeks, so I wanted to provide a recap of the changes. The schedule on the website reflects most of these items, and I will be updating the rest of them shortly.
** ADDITIONAL ENDURANCE CLASS TIMES ADDED **
Effective Tuesday, September 3rd, we will be offerring a 6pm Endurance class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings! The Tuesday evening classes will focus on trails, and will continue to be primarily at Sleeping Giant while the weather is warm. The WOD Blog will have details on the WOD and the location each week. Thursday evenings WOD will mirror the morning Endurance WOD in both workout and location. There is no change to the morning schedule! Please continue to check the WOD Blog daily, as the evening endurance on Tuesday's may be pushed to 5:30pm on occassion pending workout duration/daylight considerations [to accommodate current trail running program].
** ADDITIONAL WEEKEND CLASS TIMES ADDED **
Effective tomorrow, September 7th, we will be offerring an 8:00am OPEN GYM, on both Saturday and Sunday. The purpose of this timeslot is two-fold. As part of OPP, our competition team athletes are required to make one of the two weekend workouts at 8am to train as a team. This will be an uncoached workout, where our team members train together. This is not an exclusive timeslot though! All members are empowered to come in and workout during this time slot. Please note that it will be uncoached, but it represents a time that you can come in and complete that days workout, or work on some skills.
** ADDITIONAL WEEKDAY CLASS TIMES ADDED **
This has been effective for a few weeks now, but just a reminder that Monday - Wednesday, there is now a 4:30pm class. This class is NOT offerred on Thursday and Friday.
** THE FOLLOWING CHANGES HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED, BUT ARE ON HOLD AT THE MOMENT**
1. As part of OPP, we discussed having 7:30pm classes on Wednesday and Thursday eveing. After further discussion with members of OPP, this timeslot is unlikely to be utilized. As such, we will hold off on adding these, and re-assess as we move forward with the program.
2. We had received a number of requests to move the 10am weekday workout to 9am. We had done some polling in the class and this seemed to work well for the majority. We were set to implement this next week, but have now received a number of emails and phone calls that this may not be so great. Again, we were going to make the time switch based upon your requests. Since it seems as though this is not the consensus like we thought it was, we will hold off on making any changes to this class until we can talk with you further. Thanks for your patience while we figure out what works best.
